At Custom Cabinets Unlimited we believe that a successful project starts with great design. Our 25 + years of experience in the business give us an upper-hand in providing quality, functional and aesthetically pleasing results. Our design process for either your kitchen or bathroom starts from an initial meeting to understand the type of cabinetry, appliances, styles and options you are looking for. We begin with a few preliminary concepts for your space. After review of these initial concepts we then create a more final plan incorporating the best features from each design. This allows our experienced design team to create a detailed budget for your approval. Your investment in the Design Process will be credited towards the purchase price of your cabinetry.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
We provide a professional service not unlike a doctor, dentist, lawyer or accountant, professions which are compensated for their time, knowledge, creativity and advice. To create a well thought out and design-oriented kitchen or bathroom plan takes a significant commitment of resources including designer time, drafting, preparation and research. Since no two luxury projects are alike and each design has to be realistic, efficient and designed specifically to meet your lifestyle, taste and budget, we are creating unique designs for every one of our clients. We charge $65 per hour for our design time. With this cost, you get our time at the house for the initial meeting, designs that you can take home and review and our undivided attention during our scheduled appointments.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The "work triangle" is the kitchen area from the refrigerator to the main cooking area to the main sink. Connect the three and it should form a triangle (unless you have a 'one-wall' kitchen). It's important because at or immediately adjacent to the triangle's points, all the key kitchen activities - food preparation, cooking and clean up - take place. The work triangle helps to ensure that your kitchen will be functional. It keeps cooking activities centered in one area, with all the necessities close at hand. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
There are a lot of professionals out there - interior designers, architects, remodeling contractors - but your best bet is to pick a designer or firm that specializes in the kitchen and bath area. There are thousands of companies that offer kitchen/bath design and installation services. We belong to the National Kitchen&Bath Association. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The price for a new kitchen or bathroom will be affected by (1) the size of your kitchen or bathroom (2) what features are included and (3) the brands/models you select.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
For kitchens, pricing can range from $5,000 or so (if you do some work yourself) to as much as $150,000 and higher. On average, a kitchen will cost from $15,000 - $26,000, including design, products and installation.
Bathroom prices generally average between $1,000 and $6,000 when you're replacing the cabinetry and countertops. Again, the cost can be lower or considerably higher depending on what you're looking for.
We do provide a Cash&Carry option at Custom Cabinets Unlimited. You are responsible for the measuring, pickup, delivery and installation of the cabinets, hardware, countertops, fixtures, etc. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
How much you can or should attempt to do depends on your ability and knowledge of remodeling. You'll definitely be able to tear out old cabinets (be careful not to damage walls and beams), take up old vinyl flooring and handle trash removal. You may also want to paint or wallpaper on your own. You're better off letting the pros handle plumbing and appliance hook-ups - if you try it on your own, you may violate building codes or invalidate manufacturer warranties.
Like any major purchase, you should only spend what you can afford to spend. That means setting a budget and sticking to it. By working with Custom Cabinets Unlimited, you will be working with a professional kitchen designer helping you make the most of it - and we’ll respect the budget you've set.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
As for payment, there are a number of options. Some homeowners tap into personal savings to get the kitchen of their dreams. Others take out home equity loans.
We accept Cash&Check purchases only.
Cabinets account for about half the total cost of the project and will have the greatest impact on your budget. They range in price considerably based on quality, the type of material they are made of, and whether they are stock (ready made in specific sizes) or custom (produced specifically for your kitchen in whatever sizes are needed).<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The material you choose for surfaces including counters, backsplashes and floors can also account for variations in price.
Other key elements that factor in to the equation are talent and workmanship. In the remodeling business, you tend to get what you pay for. An accomplished designer, skilled sub-tradesmen and expert installation crew may cost more. But you'll appreciate their ability every time you use your kitchen. Here at Custom Cabinets Unlimited we pay our installers by the hour, not the box, insuring a quality installation.
No single element of a bathroom remodeling comprises a significantly larger portion of the costs than other elements. Cabinets are one of the biggest parts of the budget, accounting for 34 percent of costs, on average. So, the type and quality of cabinets you select will affect your total costs.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Not surprisingly, fixtures and fittings account for a high cost percentage in the bathroom. Expense for fixtures and fittings will vary depending on the brand, type of materials, and array of products you select. We are also a member of the SEN BUYING GROUP allowing us to provide certain items at a discounted price.
We require a signature on all drawings, plans and a contract with a 50% deposit to place any orders. In a Cash&Carry situation: we require your signature at time of pickup from our warehouse and the remaining 50% is due at this time. In a standard situation: we require 40% of the remaining balance within 5 days of the initial installation start date. The remaining 10% is due upon job completion. Construction delays will not constitute cause for delays in payment schedule. Installation will not proceed if account is overdue.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
